Tell us a little bit about yourself

My name is Rin Handika, 20 years old, I am a law student from Semarang, Indonesia. Well, I love blog and of course fashion because I feel fashion is free, and part of me. I love to watch movies and read novels. I also like something new, new clothes, maybe? Ups hehe.

Why is fashion important to you and how did you first get interested in fashion?

Because fashion has been pervasive in me, and through fashion, we indirectly have been honest with ourselves, and everyone who sees us. Fashion is you, and it will show who you really are. Fashion speak the truth and show how our mood is when dressing up. I got interested in fashion when I was first in college. Initially I just like to buy clothes that I liked, and then it continues to be something fun. I also don’t have a blog at that time, and then I think I’ll make a blog about fashion. And I made ​​it!

What are your passions?

My passion is.. having a band! Lol! I always dream about it because I really love music so much. And of course,  fashion too. I really want to work in fashion industry, because I really like it! But maybe it’s also a hobby of mine that I really love to do for my own pleasure.,

How do you balance your life as a law student and your passion in fashion?

Yes, balancing my college and my passion is not easy, it took a lot of my time. I always try to steal time between family, friends, college. I’m trying to balance things and I wrote on this blog in my free time.

Tell us about your blog. Why did you start writing?

My blog is about my fashion style as I try to mix and match every outfit in the closet, maybe it will inspire all readers who read my blog. I do it because I love it, write and play with clothes, very beautiful, isn’t it? I started writing mungkin sekitar di bulan December 2011, belum terlalu lama, but I will try to always make a post.

Describe your personal style and who is your inspiration?

My personal style is, pretty  and sweet! Haha.But.. I love glam rock too. Hehehe. Sebenernya juga lebih ke arah mood, I dress according to mood, because the clothes will always reflect our mood, I also love the bright colors and flashy. I love something sweet, chic, and simple. My inspiration is, Irish Apfel, omg i really really love her style, Coco Chanel, also Marc Jacobs too.

What’s your opinion on Indonesia’s fashion scene? What makes us unique?

My opinion about Indonesia Fashion scene aku rasa juga udah berkembang pesat yah, bisa diliat juga banyaknya fashion blogger yang sangat kreatif saat ini, juga banyaknya toko-toko yang menjual pakaian yang selalu membuat kita tergoda pastinya hihi. Menurut saya sudah sangat maju ditambah juga banyaknya online shop, seperti dskon.com adalah salah satu contohnya, membuat kita lebih mudah dalam berbelanja dan ga perlu repot repot untuk mencari kesana kemari barang yang kita butuhkan. Dan menurut saya yang unik adalah karena kita mempunyai gaya masing masing, yang sudah melekat dalam diri kita sendiri, dan itu akan menjadi ciri khas bagi setiap orang.

How do you describe Semarang fashion scene?

Demikian juga dengan Semarang fashion scene, sangat maju, kebetulan aku mempunyai beberapa teman blogger Semarang juga, dan teman temanku yang lain, mereka semua sangat mengikuti fashion dan trend yang ada. Aku sangat suka dengan kemajuan ini, saya rasa bukan hanya Semarang, tapi aku rasa hampir di kota lain juga begitu.

Favorite designers and places to shop?

Dior, brilliant and totally inspiring, also Alexander McQueen, amazingly cool and a great designer. And then, Chanel, classic and I love it l! Place to shop : eBay, haha. I love to shop on ebay, and urban outfitters.  And sometimes I love to shop at boutique too. Anywhere is fine; if I like the clothes, I’ll buy them!

What is a must-have item for you right now?

Galaxy sneakers from Mulberry, and of course, fantasy grained goatskin sandals and Boy Flap bag from Chanel 

Fashion tips for readers out there?

Just be yourself, itu akan menjadi lebih baik, menjadi diri kita adalah langkah awal cerminan dari diri kita, dan orangpun akan tau siapa kau yang sebenarnya. Be unique, karena itu akan menjadi sebuah ciri khas dari kita. And don’t forget, dare to be creative, mix and match your clothers, or make a diy by yourself

Bonus question, where or what will you be 5 years from now?

Aku harap aku bisa bekerja di bidang fashion, mungkin menjadi sebuah editor dari majalah,fashion stylish dan..I want to live in Paris or New York, always be my dream.
