Tidak semata-mata berlomba untuk tampil paling fashionable saja ko, fashion saat ini kan has already gone to a higher level! Ya, it’s all different between then and now, cause today, fashion is not all about branded clothes or glitzy things, it’s about the creativity and of course, identity!

Melalui fashion, baik itu attire, outifit dan aksesoris lainnya, seseorang dapat bermain dengan kreativitasnya dan menunjukkan identitas serta karakter diri. And, of course it is something that someone should be proud and love about. Berawal dari kecintaan inilah, tak jarang para wanita dan perempuan membagi apa yang ia kenakan lewat blognya. Hi Stevia! Cerita sedikit tentang awal mula The Sweetest Escape?

I started The Sweetest Escape in early 2010 with my older sister. Awalnya, hanya untuk mengisi kekosongan waktu kuliah tanpa harus mengeluarkan uang, tapi akhirnya jadi satu rutinitas dimana aku bisa bercerita tentang aktivitas dan tentunya mensharing daily outfitku! 

We saw a lot of vintage and classic look in most of your outfit post, is it your personal look? Or do you have any other personal fashion look?

I dont want to put a brand to myself just yet haha! But I guess for now, I am influenced a lot by vintage and classic look. I’ve been sticking to this style for almost 2 years now and I guess it suits me the most. But hey, I never say never! Who knows, maybe in 5 years I’m all about studs and leather.

What is the most favorite vintage fashion item that you have in your closet?

I have so many favorite vintage stuffs to choose, hmmm… but I probably would have to choose this blue T-shirt with detachable polkadot tie! – A classic yet trendy item.

Menurutnya, tugas sebagai pengurus costume department ini sangat menyenangkan. Karena ia dapat bermain dengan kreativitas saat memilih dan mix-n-match outift untuk singers, worship leaders, and of course the band! Siapa yang mengenalkan Stevia Indrawan pada dunia Fashion?

My mom! The reason is simple, she always look polished. The coolest bag, the coolest dress and all the latest trends! We are fierce when we shopped together. I guess that’s why I love fashion. I dont remember to ever not liking it.

Lalu apa yang akan kamu lakukan untuk terus berkontribusi di dunia fashion? (ex:planning to make your own fashion label, become a model or photographer)

To have my own label, or become a model and photograper surely sounds really dreamy, however I think I’m just gonna keep my blog for a while longer. I’m sure it would be the sweetest journey!

Siapa desainer favoritmu dan mengapa?

Nina Nikicio. Her designs are brillliant. Clean, a little edgy, and always on trend. On top of that, she is one of the founder of the whole local-designer-rise-movement. She’s also very pretty and super stylish.

Menurut Stevia, trend fashion apa yang sedang hangat diperbincangkan pada pekan Spring-Summer 2012 ini?

Floral Prints! And I heard Paisley is making a come-back in a smaller and sophisticated look.
